The survey is part of the project research "The Role of University and Science, Technology and Innovation Parks (STIPs) in the Knowledge Generation, Innovation and Economic Development” and part of the postodctoral activities of Professor Marcelo Amaral, D.Sc, Associate Professor at Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Brazil. Professor Marcelo is Visiting Scholar at NC State University, College of Human and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology.
The research is about innovation environments and focus on the Research Triangle Region, with the largest and oldest technology park in the USA (Research Triangle Park), three world class universities, and several companies and organizations.
