Call for Submissions - ISPIM Florence

Deadline: 25 January 2019

Florence is considered to be the cradle of the Italian Renaissance and has a reputation as one of the most beautiful, creative and innovative cities in the world. Arts, crafts, buildings and methodologies were developed by innovators such as Dante, Giotto, Brunelleschi, Verrocchio and Da Vinci. And it is to the genius of Da Vinci, and his timeless innovations and inventions, that this ISPIM Conference is dedicated during this, the 500th year since his death.

Over the centuries Florence and its surroundings have gained a reputation in fashion, food & wine, rail, the life sciences, nautical industries, design, oil & gas and tourism. Local companies successfully balance globalization and glocalization, both surviving and often thriving on the global market. The common ground for this bright and fecund innovative environmental crucible is that local innovation players actively engage within the innovation ecosystem, cooperating and sharing their different competences in a quadruple helix of innovation. And of course, attending the 2019 ISPIM Innovation Conference!
